Things to do in Downtown Portland

Discover Portland's Art District Neighborhood

Ladd’s front door faces the South Park Blocks, a graceful line of twelve city blocks that make up Portland’s “Central Park” and Cultural District.  In addition to our proximity to the Park Blocks, we are also surrounded by many dining, shopping and entertainment options.  The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Portland Art Museum, Keller Auditorium and Pioneer Square are all within minutes from Ladd Tower; meaning there is always something to do nearby!  We are two blocks from the Portland Streetcar Line as well as the TriMet Max line; connecting us to all other areas of Portland and surrounding metro areas.

Food and fun in Portland's liveliest neighborhood

Venture outside to watch the fun at Directors Park, where kids can run through the fountains or attend the fabulous happy hour at Ringside Fishhouse. Meet interesting people and try exotic foods at the Portland Farmer's Market at Portland State University. Or, visit the Portland Saturday Market on the West Bank of the Willamette River, which, despite the name, is open on Sundays too, every weekend from March through December.
