Neighborhoods

East Bothell/Northcreek

The Northcreek neighborhood is named after the creek that runs through it. As one of the commerce hubs in Bothell, there are several different business parks throughout the neighborhood. Many schools are also located in the Northcreek neighborhood including the University of Washington's Bothell campus and Cascadia Community College.

North Bothell

The northern end of Bothell includes the Queensborough/Brentwood, Canyon Park, and Canyon Creek neighborhoods. It contains some of the bigger nature areas in Bothell including Thrasher's Corner Regional Park. Visitors interested in history can find the North Creek School House inside of Centennial Park. This school house is on the historical registry and was originally constructed in 1902 before being moved to the the park in 1997 from its original location on 228th and 31st Ave.

South Bothell

Made up of the Waynita/Norway Hill and Queensgate neighborhoods, there are some great activities for local residents. Anyone who enjoys wide open spaces will enjoy the former Wayne Golf Course, open to the public year round and a place locals hope will become a public park. The Tolt River Pipeline offers a great path for bicycling. Other local rec areas include the Brickyard Road Neighborhood Park.

Central Bothell

Central Bothell includes the Downtown/Riverfront, Maywood/Beckstrom Hill, and Lake Pleasant neighborhoods. There are a ton of parks by the Sammammish River Waterfront including the Park at Bothell Landing. Central Bothell is home to the Bothell Library as well as City Hall. There are some great entertainment options in the neighborhood including McMenamins Anderson School Theater where diners can eat and catch a movie in the historic schoolhouse auditorium.

West Bothell

West Bothell includes the Shelton View, Westhill, and Lake Pleasant neighborhoods. This area is dominated by residential homes, and also contains four junior soccer fields that are owned and operated by the City of Bothell. Residents used to get the majority of their shopping done at Country Village, an open-air shopping plaza in the heart of the neighborhood. A great shopping replacment hasn't opened up in the area yet.
