Project Overview: 

The Fremont Assemblage Project is a seven-story mixed-use residential apartment building with one story of below-grade parking located at 452 & 462 N 36th Street in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. It includes 178 residential homes and 5,643 square feet of commercial retail space at grade. The project started in June 2026 and is expected to be completed by March 2028.

 

Ongoing Monthly Updates:

 July 2026 Updates:

  • The electrical vault and associated duct bank within Francis Ave have been installed and backfilled.
  • Soft demolition is complete.
  • Hazardous materials abatement is complete.
  • Major demolition of the existing buildings will begin on July 6th.

 

During July 2026: 

Street Use Impacts:

  • Beginning July 9th from 6 AM to 4 PM, parking will be prohibited along the west side of N Dayton Ave between N 36th St and N 39th St. for trucking as required by SDOT. 

 

 

During June 2026: 

Street Use Impacts:

  • No parking along the west side of N Dayton Ave between 6 AM and 4 PM, where it borders the site.
