Project Description
1000 Virginia is a 45-story mixed-use tower in the Denny Triangle. It includes 454 residential homes and 1000 square feet of retail at grade.
There will be six (6) levels of below-grade parking and three (3) levels of above-grade parking, which will accommodate 242 vehicles and 397 bicycles. The project site is the existing Cornish College of the Arts Centennial Labs building, located at the corner of Virginia Street and Terry Avenue in Seattle, WA. To be known as The Ayer, the project start date was July 2020, and the tower completion is estimated for November 2023.

- Installing side sewers in Terry Avenue Saturdays and Sundays 6/04/2022 - 6/19/2022; Street will be closed 7 am-6 pm and open at night.

Work Hours
The City of Seattle approved construction hours are as follows:
- Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (excluding holidays)
- Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (excluding holidays) for construction activities that are louder than 90 decibels.
- Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- No work on Sundays
- It is Holland Construction’s corporate policy to not work on Saturday or Sunday. There will be limited times as required by the City of Bellevue where work will need to occur on a Saturday to accommodate construction traffic such as oversized loads. If Saturday work is required, it will occur between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Typically, work will not take place on Sundays or on any of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day.
- If it is required that work be performed at night, outside of standard working hours, on a Sunday or Holiday, then it will be coordinated in advance with City approval and community notification.
